#365daysoflanglearning – Day 1

Happy 2017 everybody! I hope everyone’s feeling bright-eyed and bushy-tailed and ready for the year ahead–and if you’re not (maybe a little hungover?) then I hope you’ll be feeling better later today. 😉

Anyway, today is the first day of the year, so it’s also the first day of the #365daysoflanglearning challenge!

Today’s prompt is a fun start: Learn five new phrases in your target language!

I’m also giving you three different levels to work at, so you can choose which one you’d like to do depending on how proficient you feel in your language.

Level I: Learn greetings or introductory phrases. (e.g. Hello, how are you, etc.)

Level II: Learn language-related phrases. (e.g. I don’t understand, could you repeat that, etc.)

Level III: Learn conversation fillers. (e.g. Well, anyway, etc.)

Let me know how it goes, and here’s a little graphic of the prompt for you to share on social media:

See you tomorrow!

  1. Hello! I plan on starting this challenge today….I know…I’m about 290 days late, but I just found this and I know it will help me. I’ve lived in Italy for 10 years now and I can get by, but I really need to do better. Thank you for this challenge!
